TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR SKTOOLS.COM WEBSITE

The following terms and conditions of sale, in conjunction with our Terms of Use, will apply only to sales orders placed and purchased through the skhandtool.com website.  These terms and conditions shall not apply to any purchases made under a previously existing agreement, in which case the terms and conditions of said Agreement will govern.  We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time without notice.  We further reserve the right in our sole discretion, with or without notice, and without liability to modify, suspend or terminate this website or any portion, and to monitor or verify any transactional activities.

1.        ORDERS

1.1    All orders are subject to approval by SK.  SK reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel any order without liability. SK only accepts orders for shipments within the United States.  Orders for international destinations will not be processed.

1.2    Orders placed by 12:00pm CST will be processed and shipped same day, orders placed after 12:00 pm will ship next business day.  Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship next business day.

2.        PRICES

2.1     All prices are U.S. dollars and prices shall be the prices in effect at the time the Buyer places the order. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

2.2     Prices shown do not include taxes, shipping for orders under $100.00, special handling fees, or duties.  Applicable taxes will be added to the purchase price upon checkout.  All shipments are FOB shipping point.

3.        SHIPPING POLICY

3.1     SK will pay shipping charges on single orders totaling $100.00 or more, not including tax, to a single US destination provided that SK selects the carrier and shipping method.  Otherwise, a flat rate standard shipping charge of $9.99 for shipments within the U.S.A. will be charged to Buyer at the point of check out. Requests for special shipment services may result in additional charges.  Partial deliveries shall be permitted. SK does not ship to PO Box addresses or APO/FPO boxes.

3.2     SK will not be liable for delays in delivery or other services caused by acts of God, acts or threats of terrorism, computer or electronic disruptions, failure of suppliers to deliver on time, or other circumstances beyond SK’s control.

3.3     Title and risk of loss passes to Buyer upon tender of shipment to the carrier. SK is not responsible for damage or losses in transit. Buyer should file any claims immediately with the carrier. Claims for shortages and/or receipt of incorrect goods must be made in writing to SK within 30 days of shipment.

4.       RETURN POLICY

4.1     SK offers a “30 day no questions asked” return policy for saleable products purchased from the SK website, with proof of purchase. Buyer shall be responsible for shipping charges and expenses on returned products.   All returns require a return authorization.  For return authorization, email customer service at support@sktools.com.  Upon SK’s receipt of returned product(s), credit will be issued to Buyer in the same form as original payment method, excluding shipping charges. 

5.        ERRORS

5.1     SK attempts to ensure that the content on its website is accurate, complete, and current.  However, SK cannot guarantee that its website information is free from errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to price, product description, availability or otherwise.  SK reserves the right to correct such errors or inaccuracies without notice. 

6.        LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

6.1       SK® products are warranted under normal use and service against defects in materials and workmanship for the expected life of the tool, except as otherwise specified. This excludes wear from normal use, or any problems or defects caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, modification or improper maintenance of the tool.

6.2       Exception: For only a period of one year after the date of purchase, storage products, micrometer torque wrenches, dial torque wrenches, torque screw drivers and consumable products that are reasonably expected to be used up or damaged during use are warranted under normal use and  service against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover wear from normal use, or any problems caused by misuse, abuse, modification or improper maintenance of the tool.

6.3       Your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this warranty is that SK will, at its sole option, either repair or replace the defective tool, or refund your purchase price, if you return the tool to an authorized SK warranty provider. Contact SK Customer Service at 800-822-5575 to obtain information regarding authorized warranty providers.  This Limited Warranty gives you specific rights, which vary from state to state.

6.4       Abuse or misuse of any tool may cause serious or fatal bodily injury, as well as significant property or environmental damage. SK will not condone, support or be liable for the abuse or misuse of any SK® product. Using a tool for the sole purpose for which it was designed is extremely crucial. Any tool that appears to have been used for any purpose, at SK’s sole determination, other than that for which it is intended will not be accepted for warranty replacement, repair or reimbursement. Safety tips and disclaimers are found throughout the SK product catalog and the SKhandtool.com website. SK does not warrant abused and misused tools that could cause injury or threaten the safety of an individual or the environment.

6.5       TORQUE PRODUCT FACTORY REPAIR

Due to the wide variety of torque measuring and limiting devices that SK offers we utilize different service centers that specialize in each product category.
